Andrew Downing:
– Andrew continued working on the Turtle bot arm demo for PR2 Lite.

Robert and Frank Ou:
– Robert had a good weekend working on fixing bugs in simavr (the AVR microprocessor simulator) and got his code for syncing the wheels to start and stop to work.
– He also helped partially fix a problem which was causing us to continuously reflash chips.

Alan Downing:
– Alan continued working on the Turtle bot arm demo for PR2 Lite.

General Update: August 4, 2012

Matthew Downing (me):
– I created new tutorial levels for the iOS port of Myrrored, as well as an extra level which allows us to have 60 levels total.

Andrew Downing:
– Andrew worked on the vision / block detection part of the Turtlebot block manipulation demo to make it work for PR2 Lite.

Nathaniel Lewis:
– Nathaniel got his code to work to make the linear actuators for the upper arm respond like AX-12s.  An angle for an AX-12 would be converted into a specific length that the linear actuator would have to resize to.
– Nathaniel also brought an updated version of Myrrored.

Robert Ou:
– Robert fixed the AVR microprocessor simulator so it runs our code and successfully communicates with ROS directly.
– He also fixed the timing of our wheels so that all the wheels start and stop simultaneously.

Alan Downing:
– Alan is working on the pick-up and placement of blocks planning – the other part of the Turtlebot block manipulation demo that was described in Andrew’s section.

Frank Ou:
– Frank served as a mentor for Robert, as well as solving the mystery of the missing internet.
